Mr. Purdy specializes in Trust & Estate matters, with a particular emphasis on planning, estate administration, trust administration, and gift and estate tax advice.
As such, he represents a significant number of Executors and Trustees (both corporate and individual)
in all matters ranging from the probate of Wills, the administration of estates and trusts, to
Surrogate's Court accounting and other miscellaneous proceedings. He also sits on the board of numerous charitable
foundations. Mr. Purdy's clients include some of the best known names in New York finance,
sports, arts, and entertainment.
Mr. Purdy is a 1988 graduate of the Wake Forest University School of Law. He worked for six years
as an associate with the Nashville, Tennessee law firm of King & Ballow before joining VP&C
in 1994. He is licensed to practice law in New York.
